What it is
Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling creates thousands of tiny channels in the skin. Your body responds by producing fresh collagen and elastin, which over a series of sessions can improve the appearance of scarring, enlarged pores, fine lines, and uneven texture.
We pair microneedling with barrier-supportive serums and aftercare so the skin heals well and holds its results.

Skin analysis
We assess your skin — often using Alma IQ analysis — and confirm microneedling suits your concerns and skin type.

Treatment
The area is cleansed and prepped following strict infection control protocols before the device is passed over the skin. Depth and speed will be adjusted throughout treatment to achieve appropriate clinical endpoint for the best results. Most people describe the treatment as very tolerable.

Aftercare
Expect some redness for 24–48 hours. Your skin may feel tight, itchy and sensitive during this time. For 5-7 days, you will maintain a gentle home care routine with no active ingredients. Our team will guide you through this process.
It varies with your concern and skin, but a course of 3-4 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended for best results.
Most people have redness similar to mild sunburn for a day or two. Makeup is generally avoided for the first 24 hours. We recommend using a 100% mineral makeup after this. We have the GUIYA Mineral makeup available in clinic which is suitable in the initial few days post treatment and for everyday wear.
Most clients find it very manageable and describe it as uncomfortable rather than painful.
Because microneedling works by building collagen over time, results develop gradually over the weeks and months following each session. New collagen production takes approximately 3 months to develop. Results are gradual and long-term.
